As many of you have seen, we've taken down ~zod and are in the process of updating everything! Will update this thread when the new era has begun.

New galaxies are getting spammed with packets from the old era/protocol. Doing a quick fix to make these more resilient to echos of old eras.

For those following at home, when we breach we change the protocol number in Ames. Any packets with the wrong packet number are ignored to prevent crosstalk.

But the combination of this switch happening _within_ Ames and the fact that the last era was quite populous, means that there is a lot of traffic being ignored.

So what we're doing is putting that protocol filter in the runtime. Which honestly, we should have done before!

Protocol filter up and running (~zod went from unusable dojo to snappy). Now we're trying to make sure that our ships aren't spamming the ethereum nodes.
