Health insurance should have never been a for profit system. Winding that down is a long generational process and we’re still not done. If we divide our votes in the general or fail to show up, things will get much, much worse.

I was upset when they dropped the public option. It’ll get worse if the repubs get their hands on it. There’s no McCain to stop them this time. And look at the way they’re already attacking Romney. If we don’t flip WH & Senate in 2020, healthcare will be hollowed out completely.

Obamacare saves lives. Pretty sure it helped more people than it hurt. And the point is our vote or failure to vote doesn’t just affect us, it impacts our neighbors and fellow Americans. And because we’re a superpower with a lot of economic weight, it impacts the entire globe.

The difference is while most Dems will only show up to vote for something, republicans show up to vote against the things they’ve been told are out to get them.
