Tesla is not doing yearly facelifts like traditional car makers. I think if they were less bland, their cars would not be as timeless. It’s incredible that the model s, a design that launched in 2012 ago, is still a “desirable” car and seen as premium.

“Don’t hire your friends, but strive to become friends with those you hire” (I think Tim Brown said that.)

Beautiful speech by Mitt Romney today. I don’t share ideology, but I do hope he’s not punished for standing by his beliefs. Sad that the rest of senators preferred to stay in power instead of taking a stance against abuse of power.

Frekvens has been in the making for a long time, but these surprise add-ons… why a surprise and nice way to add something new to the much awaited product line up.

Shady online check in with : 1. Choose a paid seat, the closer to the front, the most expensive. 2. Everything in standard class is shown full, except the last two rows 3. Skip the step, and get assigned to 9F. Which was the standard front seats not available before 🤷🏻‍♂️

I had no idea. Really sad if that’s how we will have to walk around just to be able to breath clean air.

Fair point. To be honest, I think the real problem is that conferences are crazy expensive these days. Expectations change a lot between a $200 and a $1400 event. Great talk at Awwwards a couple years ago, btw. Really enjoyed it. 😉

Have we given up? Is this the future ahead of us? Headphones with air purifiers, fashionable masks…?

Tbh, considering the prices of conferences these days, I would expect to see a talk prepared specifically for the conference. Same about people touring with the same talk over and over. I’d personally prepare something specific for the event.

I think it’d be a differentiating benefit, for sure. Depending on the culture though, I’d be careful of the egg freezing being perceived as a hint to postpone maternity to put work first.

I honestly don’t understand all the hype with foldable screens/devices. All I see is a hinge that is waiting to break. The only novel use I’ve seen so far is LG’s rollable tv, and still it’s not too convenient. Why wait for it to unroll to watch it?

It’s now been shown across study after study that older founders do better than their younger counterparts. Yet these days I see so many older founders moving into VC instead of starting what’s likely to be their most successful startup yet.

Since October 2016 I’ve tried booking a table at . At midnight, the 1st of the month. Sometimes I forgot, others I’ve been really close but have seen the tables disappear before finishing... Today I finally managed to get a hold of one. Looking forward to Jan 2021.

What I like about is that he’s actually having fun doing what he does. Play and work as the same. (compared to most other big Corp. CEOs who look more like a walking press release).

I really think that's how PM's should work. Some tasks must be specific, others don't. A PM should pin point things that need fixing rationally. Explain why. And let people do their job. Giving broad problems to your teammates will make them feel valued, happy, challenged…
