A Royal shipment. Yoder Smokers employees loaded up pits Wednesday afternoon to deliver today to competitors at the American Royal World Series of Barbecue in Kansas City. Yoder Smokers loans out smokers each year to competitors who aren't able to bring along their own pit.

Adventures in pastrami ... One of Josh Searcy's first cooks on his YS640s, smoked 5 hours at 250° on the top shelf, then wrapped to finish it at 300° for 2 hours. Looks like the adventure was successful! Learn more about making pastrami with this video:
