Online gambling has been around. Zynga first offered it as a virtual reward platform in the US and a real money reward game with its poker app in the UK. The reason they didn't offer real money rewards in the US was concerns of fraud. A video game label skirts regs too

At best I will have to downgrade the site, hopefully I can afford a middle level subscription to keep it going. If it comes to shutting the site down, I probably will be done myself. No point in continuing on if its just me and a couple others financing it.

Adversaries of gaming addiction and gambling related addiction in video games say that an underlying condition exists and that gaming addiction etc., does not deserve its own diagnostic criteria. Can't the same be said about gambling addiction? What makes it different then?

There’s actually a lot more going on here with regards to why some people are unhappy. Most of you who follow me know how I feel about mobile gaming & microtransactions, and that it’s part of a bigger industry trend that has some people (rightfully, IMO) concerned.
