How about the gift of sustainability? Dad would love a reusable water bottle (there's a wide selection available at the ZooStore) & you can fill them at one of our many water filling stations. There are more than 10 located at the zoo. See if you can find them all…and drink up.

Our penguin keepers tell us Mateo is one of the best dads in our Humboldt penguin colony. He has fathered & been a foster dad for at least 10 chicks over the years. See if you can find him at the penguin exhibit. He’s the handsome one with the light blue band on his right wing.

Make sure to stop by Zoomazium. Be there at 10:30 am for story time with a shout-to dads, plus puppets and a chance to meet one of our Ambassador Animals—or come by anytime to explore a variety of fossils, rocks, shells and pine cones at the Nature Nook!

Father’s Day is this Sunday, June 16. How about celebrating your love and appreciation for fatherhood with a zoo visit? Go see new baby giraffe Hasani and his father, Dave. Good thing this dad doesn’t wear neckties, because that would have to be a VERY long tie!

Our zoo is an urban forest. Lots of animals live in our tree canopy & depend on our 92 acres of greenspace? Help us protect parks & local wildlife with a 'yes' vote on your King County Prop 1 ballot.

Tucker, Nooksack, Piper and Tahu are now diving, gliding and zipping (chasing mom's fish) through the pool every day from 9-2 (unless they are napping—all that swimming can really wear a pup out)!
