I’ve been blocking brands over their promoted tweets and now the new ads I came across have been increasingly mediocre 😅

I don’t like it when companies list they have lots of products/services available but turns out only a few is available to me

Is there a website that keeps track of the global availability of products/services/features? And we can aggregate the data and rank the companies by percentage?

Is there a point to rolling out flagship features exclusively in specific regions only, for such a long time? I'd understand testing, but for 6+ months?! Reels looks like a flagship Instagram feature, so locking it behind regions just seems arbitrary and silly.

FB seems to do this all the time. Wanted to give FB Dating a go a while back but I still don't see it even though Singapore has had it for months. Now no enthusiasm lol

This approach won’t work, as the app code of the feature is globally available, but the feature eligibility is determined by where Facebook thinks the user is based

Sure it might eventually rollout here, but when? 6 months? 12 months? At that point the feature is no longer exciting

The only way to become eligible to the features is by moving to those regions

I’ve basically stopped using Instagram since I switched to iOS because I’m constantly reminded of many of the new features that won’t be available in where I live, including Reels
