I gotta be honest Day Time Twitter. Late Night Twitter is kicking your butt on helping support public school students. They've even started talking sh#t about you. I try to defend you, but its hard. I'd advise you to pick a project to help students learn.

“DuBois’s life & legacy make clear that activism must not be a plaything of the young. Some ...have suggested that activism is a passing phase that millennials & Gen Xers will grow out of. Du Bois stood against injustice until the edge of his death bed.”

Lots of questions about students’ rights in a walkout. Here’s the gist: Your school can punish you for missing class, just like they always can, but it can’t punish you more harshly for protesting than if you were missing class for another reason.

Anyway this is a page of some the projects I have found on that inspire me. Hopefully they inspire you. So far people have contributed over $5000 so far. That may not seem like a lot of money but it is going to make a huge difference. Do it!

This one is so kids can have markers, dry erase boards, & a CD player. These aren't big things. Many of you have this stuff unused in your house right now. But these little things make a big difference.

Some of the projects are so that kids can learn to dream & to expand their worldview. Like these high school students are less than $200 away from going to Europe. EUROPE!!!

Me & theatre Professor Aldo Billingslea had a conversation about the legacy of MLK, uncomfortable conversations, & the power of shutting the eff up! It got deep quick. Enjoy! & somebody send it to Trump. He could learn something/everything.

Again, many of these projects need less than $100 to be completed. Like this one! And you don't have to fund the entire thing. Any amount will help.
