I'm mildly irritated that Pi has basically relegated AArch64 machines to tiny little SBC toys because everyone wants to copy it and it's where the money is.
Will someone engineer a decent AArch64 board with good firmware, open schematics, etc? Yes. Is it likely to happen? No.

(There is an EFI GOP driver on the Option ROM, but it is an Intel architecture one so X86EmulatorDxe will be required until NVIDIA releases a native AArch64 GOP driver or until someone ports Nouveau to EFI GOP.)
