Saturday, 11/3/18, the story of the Tuskegee Airmen will be presented at the SUNY Corning Community College Health Education Center from 3-6pm. Tuskegee Airman Pilot Herbert Thorpe will be in attendance. The event is free and open to public.

Six years ago, Hubble captured this of the Horsehead Nebula in infrared light. The nebula looks dark & shadowy in visible light, but is transparent & ethereal in infrared. A nearby star’s ultraviolet radiation is slowly evaporating it away:

We had a great time last Saturday at the 4th Annual Airport Day at Ithaca Tompkins Regional Airport. We spent the day talking about the discovery center and sharing our excitement about the new Mars Base Eagle exhibit we are opening soon!
