UCLA's recruiting classes in 2014-16 were ranked 18th, 12th and 13th nationally. Bruins had 1 player selected this week

Goes to coaching or lack there of. Doesn’t matter who recruited them, it matters who teaches them. It’s sad what’s happened to their program.

That’s the thing, the star system has been a pretty reliable way to predict NFL prospects. There’s no foolproof method, so that’s about as good as we have. It speaks volumes about just how bad UCLA’s program has been at developing talent.

Agree with that. Mora was one bad coach.

Utah 2014-2016. 66th, 50th, and 33rd. Utah doing what Utah does - put their heads down and go to work. One of the best staffs at developing kids. Imagine what they could do with UCLA's talent. Love the kids who do come to Utah and buy in and do the work. It pays off!!

It's very possible they wouldn't have done any better with those recruiting classes draftwise. Talent aside, they probably aren't the kind of kids Utah usually recruits, and it's questionable whether they would come and put in the work necessary to develop.

Jim Mora’s demise started with losing Adrian Klemm as his top recruiter followed by losing OC Noel Mazzone. Hiring Tom Bradley as his DC was just plain stupid.

Serious question: Is that worst than what Florida did in those classes then draft? I vaguely remember them in the top of recruiting and never put it together on the field.
