. Depart for Georgetown Tuesday Morning Our fine police personnel left at 5:15 AM to assist Georgetown County. Chief Ritchie deployed 18 personnel, our mobile command post, 2 hi water rescue vehicles, generators and some squad cars to help our fellow citizens

They most likely spoke to town staff at one time about it but there has not been an annexation application to be approved or denied.

How do you get to defend greed, more profit, lower taxes and thumbing your nose at public sentiment? Apparently just plan to build storage units on Coleman Boulevard. “The nattering natives are up in arms”

Just what we all need... another storage facility. This time, it could replace a strip of local businesses along Coleman Blvd. in Mount Pleasant.

If he hadn’t found a home, he’d have been welcome in Mt Pleasant - probably in Hamlin Plantatation.

I couldn’t agree more! State law doesn’t allow the town to annex it, and the property can’t get sewer & water without seeking annexation. So this is what they’ve chosen. All the town can do is ask CHS County BZA to deny. And we will!
