802.11 channel utilization is the blood pressure of a WiFi network. Few people understand it or even look at it when WiFi issues occur. Check it often ... avoid bad WiFi

Yes, the band C channels became available in 2017, following an Ofcom ruling. However, few vendors have implemented the change in their WLCs/APs. I *suspect* this is due to the requirement to re-cert the devices for the new channels in the UK.
