We've done a great job of getting rid of drought conditions across North Texas, and we'll do even better this week! Most will see about .5 -1" of rain on average with isolated higher totals northeast of the metroplex.

Is there a risk of severe weather Thursday? Yes. Is it about as low as it could possibly get? YES Only a storm or two could produce some small hail and gusty winds Thursday. Certainly nothing that we're concerned about!

Oh no! Wet turkeys?? Nothing to panic about, but some scattered rain is possible next week, including Thanksgiving.

Rain chances will only go up from here! Many have asked about a risk of severe weather this week. The short answer: It's REALLY low. Thursday could bring an embedded storm or two with small hail and gusty winds. It's about as low of a severe risk as you can get.

A warm, cloudy afternoon with patchy drizzle. Rain and a few storms will become scattered later this evening.

What to expect the rest of the week as rain returns to North Texas: Rain coverage will be highest Thursday night into Friday morning, but dry by Fri. afternoon into evening. Highest rain totals look to be across northern NTX with lower totals to the south and west.

WEDNESDAY: Most of the day will be rain-free. A passing light shower or sprinkle possible. By the afternoon into evening, showers and storms are likely mainly for western/northwestern NTX. But some scattered rain is possible for the DFW area by evening into night.

Welp, it was nice while it lasted...warm again tomorrow but gone is the sunshine and low humidity. Scattered showers will be around on Wednesday with on and off rain on Thursday. Friday morning starts out rainy before drier and cooler by Fri. afternoon into evening.

Did you enjoy it?? 1st day in the 80s this month, and the warmest day since October 23rd. It was only 1 week ago we had a low of 22° and a high of 39°.

Could tomorrow be even better than today?? If you like warmer temps, I think so! Highs in the 70s area-wide with most in the mid to upper 70s. About 10° above normal, and close to some of the warmest temps this entire month. Enjoy!
