Mate again who would you rather we spend the money on ? The guy who didn't leave his club? The guy who didn't want to speak to our club or the guy who only wanted to go to another club...

Was the Omera trade terrible for Hawthorn even though Jäger missed his first year injured?

Yes it's a lot of money but if given the choice between spending it and taking a punt on Hannas coming good (still a good chance that happens) or just seeing the SC surplus flitter away I would go this way every time .. even if we were 1-4 not 4-1

We are front loading the contract.. it is not like we had Shiel Kelly or any other free agents lining up to take up the available funds so if we don't spend it on someone we lose it..by the time year 4 comes the contract value will be low enough we wil again have oodles to spend

As long as we keep up the workrate and the intensity I would say any team will find us very hard to beat

As a football fan our game has certainly been better thanks to the contribution of Eddie Betts... congratulations on the milestone and what a way to celebrate it

Well done to the Blues ... but funny how they win and it's how good they have come yet when the Saints win it's all about how poorly their opponent played ...

Maybe now after this week the media can lay off the criticism of the Saints and maybe look at the Dee's and the Dog's who supposedly were light years ahead of the Saints..

The thing that gets me with the criticism over the Hannebery trade is draft pick wise it was a bargain.. money wise yes it was a decent amount but realistically what else were we to spend that money on? Running under the SC meant we spend it or lose it
