I know that bitmoji is not cool and new anymore, but I want to share with the world the bitmoji I have been using for years. It still makes me laugh sometimes.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. And with the current state of arborist it might be a few requests per dep.

Were you able to get arborist working to do the whole tree? It would be interesting to look at the authors in your specific tree.

just published from the plane; `npx publishers <[/]package> [--json]` to get a list of versions, and who published each when.

Netflix has some nice mountain views, but nothing can beat this!

I can’t recommend this more to folks with young children: Work from home if you can! While in the office, if I need a moment to think I check news or twitter or take a short walk. At home I watch my daughter play. Infinitely more rewarding and equally productive!

I sure hope not. I think the poll results actually will just show good dads vs bad. Or depending on your status, good partners vs bad. If I tried to not change diapers my wife would set me stright lol.

YouTube has the worst ads, but this one is hilarious. Rebo is a water bottle which stores how much you drink on a blockchain. Don’t get me wrong, reusable water bottles are good, but blockchain? Its called “database” on a “server” 😛

To be clear, I am not complaining or saying it is bad! Just that I value different things, simply a personal taste thing 😛

One thing I personally do prefer is runners without an assertion api. I know the benefits it can have, but again, I don’t really write tests which benefit strongly from the learning the added api surface.

It was about a year ago. Sorry I don’t really remember, but maybe I will have another go at it and report back! My guess is related to the isolation and parallelism on server integration tests. I think my test philosophy might just not be the target use case.

Haha yeah maybe I have been lucky to have avoided that being a problem. I am also fairly minimalistic in how I test, only testing enough to aid my dev process and then when bugs or edge cases come up. I value pragmatism over coverage.

I mostly agree on ’s packages, but Ava has been an exception for me. I didn’t give it too much of a try, but my first few experiences with it left me with a few wtf moments. I also am not unhappy with mocha so have not seen a need to switch.

🚨 FYI: there will be a security release for all actively supported release lines on February 4th to address one critical and two high severity vulnerabilities. If you have a slow upgrade process, now's a good time to get the ball rolling.

While the extra click is annoying in some cases, when there is nothing actionable in the update it is nice to not have a whole page to go to. Is there some other part of it which is friction for you?

Are you using the new ui? It has a “mark as unread”. It is overall much much better.

🔊 upcoming security release for 10, 12 and 13 version branches of Node.js will be released on February 4th. You're more than encouraged to plan for an upgrade and proper testing as there will be HTTP parsing related changes introduced as well.
