We seek solace in prescribing right behaviours and small activities. That is good eco manners but wont make the required difference. We need a viable secondary loop which is commercially viable n science driven which makes used plastic n other things valuable n exploitable.

In my understanding most plastics made from the hydrocarbons that are readily available in natural gas and oil byproducts. Till the time we wean ourselves away from fossil fuel dependence, I do not think plastics are going away.
