I'm so depressed by all of this that I feel like giving up all hope. As a species I don't think we want to protect the planet. Governments aren't going to do anything to help. And the reality is voters don't really care, they aren't willing to sacrifice lifestyle for environment.

Loved Procession to Calvary. If you need any more inspiration this National Gallery exhibition looks mighty fine:

Loved your article on open source. I recently did my first pull request on a free Java programming course over at (). Been contributing a few spelling corrections and mistranslations. I found it a great way to learn how to contribute.

Loved Hired Guns. The music was something else. Unfortunately I had an inventory bug while playing so never got to the end :(

I think it's a legal thing, when I was a journalist we had to be very careful not to apportion blame. So we would write awkward things like "a collision involving a child and a car". Up to courts to decide what happened.

Yah, not the best games Days of Thunder, Nightbreed, Back to the Future 2 and Shadow of the Beast 2. SotB was by far the best, but still not great. But coming from a green screen Amstrad it was a revelation!

I had a stock A500 Screen Gems pack. Must have been in 1990? Moved on to a A1200 in 1993 and then onto a PC in 1996 I guess. Strange how time seemed to move so slowly then and so rapidly now. It felt like I had those Amigas for decades not a handful of years!

Developers, what's the best way to record footage of a game I'm building to show on twitter?

I was just scoffing a piece of cheese and I remembered this outburst from Boris: I'm surprised no-one has raised it on social media (or maybe they have and I'm not in the right circles).

I think the problems come when you mix using traditional css with css in js. It becomes confusing as to where a component gets its styling from, and new developers get confused about the right way to do things. It's something that will hopefully get shaken out.
