They will sell a lot in China, so the next factory will be built in China. Util tesla achieves full automation, building cars in China will help them reach profitability sooner.

You know which side makes more money through the trade? Intel's CPU sells for 60% gross margin, iPhone over 40%, celgen's drug over 90% GM, etc, while most chinese goods are made with single digit gross margin.

Are you talking about WTO? If you have a case, submit the complaint to WTO and let WTO expel China from the org.

Don't expect the Chinese to go low. They are in the transition to move away from low end manufacturing, which consumes a lot energy and produce too much pollution. They may thank Trump to push their agenda moving forward faster.

It's a dumb idea to start the trade war. American companies made more profit though the trade, so guess who will lose more?

This is straight lie. U.S. didnt lose $500B but rather enjoyed $500B low cost service. In addition, the surplus is mostly invested back in U.S. through treasury bills. China is still a low income country, how would u expect them to have the same purchase power as ppl in U.S.?

I just don't see how U.S. can win the trade war. Chinese companies make very little money for goods selling in U.S., while U.S. retailers make the most profit. U.S. retailers have to either mark up the price (consumers suffer) or take less profit (business suffers).

script count is more important than stock price as stock price can be manipulated by short sellers.

I'd focus on the script count instead of the stock offering.

If the car detects emergent situation it can't handle and the driver does not engage after warning, it should try to stop or at least slow down and turns on emergency light.

Shouldn't RADAR detect object in front and try to stop the car? Tesla needs to fix the software.

Democracy is not about which side is wrong and which side is correct. It's just about which side is majority.

Anyone claiming China will fail should take a tour in China before publishing this article. With well educated young generations, China will only move ahead faster than before.
