I'm so sorry for what I can only imagine must have been a double blow and making a horrific time so much harder. A breakthrough is a very positive thing, & testament to strength to have got here. Onwards and upwards.

I have uterine factor infertility, although technically depending on the definition possibly not 'absolute' uterine factor infertility, as I have a womb but it doesn't work. Multiple failed IVF & losses. I don't have absolute testicular infertility b/c I wasn't born with testes

John Guillebaud, professor of reproductive health at UCL, on the shocking news that period pain can be debilitating: “Men don’t get it and it hasn’t been given the centrality it should have. I do believe it’s something that should be taken care of, like anything else in medicine"

Norman repeatedly told doctors that sex caused her pain, but Drs wouldn't take seriously until her boyfriend came with her to an appointment & mentioned his frustration. “Becoming a disappointment to a man,” she writes, “seemed to do the trick.”

Abby Norman, author of 'Ask Me About My Uterus: A Quest to Make Doctors Believe in Women's Pain" was told by several Drs her endometriosis was just a UTI: it was only taken seriously when her boyfriend came to an appointment.

I mean, the fact that endo takes an average of 7.5 years to diagnose or that NICE had to issue official guidance telling Drs to *listen to women* isn't an issue, right?

Debilitating periods are no big deal though, it's not like endometriosis affects 176m women worldwide & 1.5m women in the UK, many of whom live w/ pain so severe they can't hold down a job, costing the UK economy £8.2bn pa.

NHS to stop funding D&C and hysterectomies for debilitating heavy periods unless by appeal because considered 'ineffective'.

NHS funding cuts for vasectomies not only a false economy but push the burden for contraception onto women, and also the risk of contraceptive failure & unplanned pregnancy

I'm from that faith group and there is a not insignificant problem with child abuse and concealment thereof within the very strict orthodox community. There was nothing wrong with your tweet at all.

Not my lane to offer my own opinion so I shall leave that to those better informed than me! Just sharing these FWIW in case interesting or relevant to the discussion. Whatever their gender identity I salute their bravery

Man "concerned for his safety" throws a woman against a wall, grabs her by the neck. Woman concerned for the safety of another woman reports an incident to the police, and is attacked by the Press and threatened with exposure. Can you see what they are yet?
