The Peel Centre ones are great - they're raised as well, so drivers always go over them very slowly.

Great to see that has included my quote in the piece about the terrible flytipping at the Station Road entrance - and that seem to be listening to my calls for bollards to be installed

Looking at the new infrastructure on the newest version of the map - does this mean that Longford Road West will be getting a proper segregated cycle lane? 😍

Really nice to stroll around Stephenson Square seeing people enjoy the streets safe from cars and buses. would be so nice if grew a pair and did this permanently throughout the , Chinatown, Deansgate etc. Fat chance, sadly!

. is right - the lack of guidelines for infrastructure in means our towns & cities are full of painted lanes that few people ride on as they are useless and/or dangerous. When will we learn from the ?

Instead of spending billions on new motorways, give the £1.5bn he says it will take to build the Bee network in full and make walking and cycling the obvious, easy choice for everyday journeys. Otherwise any talk of being the UK’s greenest city is just rhetoric

Just had a very frightening incident on Longford Road West. As the link btwn the Fallowfield Loop & Reddish Vale, it should be safe to cycle on - it's wide enough for proper bike lanes - but its current design makes it dangerous. Tell me if you've also had problems!

This is so brilliant - would be so much nicer if we followed 's lead. What a great legacy , and would leave if they replaced unnecessary on-street car parking in the city centre with greenery, pocket parks and bike racks!

I go down Park Grove and Old Hall Lane in the winter, as a Loop alternative - it's pretty good, and much safer than the main roads.
