Definitely the team. Everyone in the building is insanely smart. Secondly, the transparency and laid back communication from top to bottom. Finally, very strong "work from wherever you want/whenever you want" culture.

The apple that inspired me to start reviewing apples on YouTube and, up until this experiment, what I would call my favorite apple - the Envy apple, the juiciest apple I’ve ever eaten -

This is great. Every company that hires software engineers should do this.

This is awesome! My wife wanted to get into coloring, so received a bunch of books and colored pencils for XMas and she LOVED Baby Yoda. Printed a copy for her - will scan it when she colors it.

My first review of an apple sent to me from a fan! A naturally occurring hybrid of the Red and Golden Delicious, the Cameo apple:

While in the military, when I first got married, and we quickly became pregnant, my spouse introduced me to lettuce sandwiches. Totally blew my mind. Bread, a lot of mayonnaise, a lot of lettuce, and some salt/pepper. Surprisingly good!

Does a Hello World count? Cause I have no idea what's going on in most of these "modern" apps.

We have a 404 handler in our app that spams a channel in Slack. Most of the time it's bots testing for vulnerabilities, but every now and then we get a legit 404.

In 2020, I’ve challenged myself to eat, and review, every type of apple commercially available in the US. Happy New Year: here’s my review of the Gala apple:

The Switch's joysticks are absolutely horrible. I won't even play the thing if I can't use a Pro Controller. We've gone through 2 full sets of joycons and every single joystick drifts in some infuriating way. Makes navigating an in-game menu impossible.

FitBit to reassure me I'm not having heart attacks every 20 minutes. A Kindle w/ Unlimited to read even more. And, thanks to buying a new iPhone for a kid, a year of Apple TV+.
