I believe that GFH only called Semele an oratorio so that he could get it performed during Lent. Assuming that the bishops did not hear about the love scenes 😁

Ring AD111: Siegfried's Mission or the 2nd part of Adventure. This motive goes out into the world with Siegfried. We hear it every time Siegfried arrives on stage in Act 2. It returns in the Prologue to Götterdämmerung.
