Saint-André d'Argenteuil has declared a state of emergency. A lot of rain in a very short time has caused the Ottawa River to rise quickly. Residents are being told to leave before the flood waters reach their homes.

Sand bags, sand and empty bags will be available tomorrow morning, starting at 8:30 a.m. at the L'Orignal Fire Station. Volunteers are also needed.

South Nation Conservation has updated its flood watch. Rainfall is not projected to a possible 65 mm. This could translate into flood levels equaling May 2017. We will keep you posted as much as possible during the days to come.
