Pretty cool new feature in iOS 12 beta 3: you can now easily generate links for individual pictures in the Photos app to share with others. Links last for 30 days.

And it works in Beta 2 for multiple pictures automatically. Never saw that happen before.

Finally! Sharing with links is something I do often with Google photos. A native feature to iOS will take that extra step out ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

In Pages, Numbers and Notes it is possible to add participants to collaborate on a shared file with other people... that is fine to work purpose. Sharing a file via url link should be more or less the same, perhaps

This for default is a little weird. Keeps you from giving the photos in a more permanent way, the simplicity of sending the photo is nice

Just to confirm (because I only discovered this a few weeks ago), you can share links from files itโ€™s just the UI is much more hidden than this design.

But I assume you probably meant that it would be nice to have that shortcut in Files (which it would!)

Yes, that's more of what I meant. But, I didn't know that I could create a link in that way. Thanks for teaching me something new!
