I would climb a mountain, go dancing, and laugh and talk with my friends until 2 in the morning. I'd bake bread and play my violin. I'd get a job. I'd go to chapel every day. I'd build the most beautiful garden ever. I'd write all the articles in my head.

I was thinking today about how develop some seriously abnormal life skills that nobody else would dream of trying. My favorite weird life skill is the ability to shave my legs in the dark. What's your favorite weird life skill from ?

So grateful to have an air conditioner today. And Christmas lights. Makes for a much happier basement room.

Nothing's more beautiful this time of year than a field of Queen Anne's Lace in upstate NY.

I seem to see-saw. Some days, brushing my teeth does it; other times, I can go for short walks. No discernable pattern.

I wish I had gotten the "avoid crashes" lecture 3 years ago. I only learned that last year. The hard way.

I have. My folks actually got me one for my birthday, but it was defective, and I haven't had the energy to return it yet. But I'll put it higher up on my list.

Apparently, the doctor that I randomly found last year as the only doctor who had room for a new patient, is part of the network that has one of two clinics in the whole country. So he's been studying up all summer.

My doc called today to check in with me. And said the words "I want to make sure to get you physical therapy that won't make you worse." I have never felt good about a doctor before.

I passed my German exam. With exactly 1 hour of studying since 2016. Miracles happen.

Been off for a while - moving back to Toronto, starting school again, wedding planning, and doing some last-minute jobs. I missed all you . Glad to be back.

for my mechanic who made the time on a super-busy day to fix the brakes on my fiance's car before we left tomorrow.
