When you make good initial bets, much easier to deploy 2/3 of the fund on follow-ons :)

It will force colleges to invest in “customer success” to ensure the education and resources they provide lead students to getting jobs that allow them to pay back loan. Allowing student debt to be treated like any other debt in bankruptcy is a good first step.

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I was thinking just this morning I don’t really know what is socialism in the context of our political discourse. Expanding our social safety net, especially around education, healthcare, childcare, etc is not socialism.

What do most seed funds target for fund deployed on first check? 50%?

That makes sense. The “sometimes” confused me bc I would think almost always you would start deploying out of the new fund before you get to the point of recycling in the old fund.

That is awesome! I am surprised by the last sentence, though. You would make a new investment out of the older fund after starting to invest out of the new one? I always thought about it as pushing the boundaries on % of fund deployed on first check. Say more pls.

We call on Senator Sanders to condemn the hateful speech from his supporters and end the Trump-like rhetoric. America deserves better.

We all provide references as a part of due diligence. People are busy but I’ve noticed the best references respond quickly, call you right back, move things around to talk, etc. A small reminder that actions can speak louder than words- if you want to help, try to be responsive

This is not a politician focused on defeating Trump or building a governing coalition that can move the country forward. Concerning.

This should not be a surprise to anyone, is consistent with their enduring strategy & mirrors the analysis of ⁦ team “Bernie Sanders briefed by U.S. officials that Russia is trying to help his presidential campaign”

It is kind of amazing that everybody in this administration that was credible and competent is out and Trump does not even bother anymore. Surrounding himself with loyal grifters and scumbags looking to feed off the scraps left behind.

Putin’s Puppet is at it again, taking Russian help for himself. He knows he can’t win without it. And we can’t let it happen.
