Leaving a tough shift in the ER. I’ve had to do it many times before, but it’s impossible to describe how sad and horrible it feels to tell someone their son has died. Or to hear his young daughter across the country, wailing, as you standby, feeling helpless. Hold em close.

From now until the election, I'll donate daily to a Democratic candidate. Today it's for senate in Kansas. I donated through PIVOT, which matches your donation. We have the power. Vote & donate.

So Cornyn didn’t break with Trump on white supremacy, detention camps, imprisoned children, mega-corruption, sexual assault, COVID incompetence, reckless endangerment of the American people...

Imagine paying this much money for a chance to get infected: "Tickets to the Newport Beach fundraiser — which will feature a live performance by the Beach Boys — start at $2,800 per person, up to $150,000 per couple for co-chair status"

I agree with her. Let the press and courts do the work. Parties shouldn't persecute their opponents. But outside of that, peace & reconciliation still needs to be done. That's going to be hard enough, if even possible.

I recommended The Sympathizer by to a good friend and look, her daughter loved the book! The Sympathizer should be read and studied and then re-read later with its forthcoming sequel The Committed. Have you got your copy?

If Biden wins, I think some Democrats will attempt or be open to peace & reconciliation efforts with Republicans (except for Trump himself, and his chief minions). If Trump wins, I think he'll go for re-education camps.

Mark Bradley's book on the Vietnam War is pretty short. Don't know anything shorter.
