- the idea that any software-based DRM will never be broken is absolute magical thinking. It can certainly slow down people who want unDRMed content, but if there's sufficient motivation all the evidence is that it'll eventually be broken.

First pre-release vlcj-5.0.0-SNAPSHOT pushed to the OSS snapshots Maven repo. vlcj-5.x is pretty stable, but use pre-release software at your own risk. Requires a pre-release build of VLC 4.0.0, so build that yourself or try a nightly build.
