that! Plus odd modal rules for speakers gallery, toolbar hide'n seek when you are sharing and have multiple monitors, etc... nonetheless, Zoom remains my absolute favorite from the bunch

there is such a checkbox, but at least on Windows that doesn't work - still getting the usual "end meeting for all", for example

Things that baffle me: - How paper bags handle design is still popular despite shortcoming - Why so few people microwave metal stuff by mistake - Why there's no one-click affordance to leave a meeting (don't feed me ALT+F4 gaslighting, doesn't work)

Technically, yes- the difference is that classic conspiracy theory suggests that the Man is out to get you, whereas the ones I am trying to describe suggest that the Man has a good plan and things are going accordingly

Today someone from my past unexpectedly reached out to tell me about a positive change coming in their life, and thanked me for my mentorship... that made me so happy, and so proud! 💪 Is this what old age feels like? 😛

Ok, I know I complained about various changes in , but I have to admit: the new resolution is AMAZING. Just watched a 180° 3D of the Indonesian reef and boy- breathtaking. Pretty damn near perfect.

Thank you! That sounds very, very close - here it’s not necessarily about malice, more about attributing competence and smarts to people who don’t really deserve it; but this is very close!

What’s the word for “reverse conspiracy theory” 🤔- the belief that something was planned, when it fact it is the result of stupidity, incompetence or sheer chance? Neither apophenia nor patternicity cut it.

Dear , I am confused. I bought an appliance ONLINE, I rejected the delivery so it is now already back in your warehouse, but I am now told I can’t get a refund unless I drive to the shop? Even without Covid this wouldn’t make any sense...
