One of these is a non-functional native app, the other is a fully functioning PWA

Google Fi allows you to order a data-only SIM card, which doesn't allow you to make calls/texts. Google Fi also allows you to make calls/texts from a website, which they publish as a PWA, so I can make calls/texts from my data-only SIM card πŸ‘

I saw someone mention their partner-with-ADHD's need for "dopamine breaks" every 20 minutes, and it has me eying the clock anytime I notice I'm off task. I can't tell if I feel seen or personally attacked

Maybe a better example would be when Ds removed the judicial filibuster after R obstructionism -- tactically correct, strategically disastrous. I agree tho, can't put long term thinking above a crisis but I'm wary of what the future holds

The feud between Cuomo and de Blasio has definitely led to deaths. (and schools are closed, I got a city alert about it)

When I read this, I saw it as a warning against how e.g. the Patriot Act was introduced after 9/11. Taking advantage of widespread concern to ship tools that are harmful in their own (new) way

I agree with this sentiment but wonder about the details. Every indication is that Ds are going to have to fight dirty just to govern, without a senate majority even routine things like agency appointments will be a fight

The Wayne County Board of Canvassers just deadlocked on certifying the vote on party lines. This is unprecedented in my 20 years covering government here.

4x 2 min exposures at f/8 and ISO 1000 on a Canon 60D, modified to remove the internal UV/IR filter. Was surprised it turned out so bright, other, longer exposures didn't come out so well in the past

I used this camera to take photos of the solar eclipse a couple years ago, I think I fucked up and damaged the sensor πŸ˜‚πŸ˜¬
