It's getting harder and harder for OEMs to be anything more than rectangle assemblers.

Why let something like talent or technique get in the way of a promising career in pop? 🙃

I think it's pretty disappointing that an A-lister performing at top houses like La Scala can hope, at best, for annual take-home around $180K-$190K per year when working their tail off non-stop all year. An anonymous, mid-career L6 or L7 working at Amazon pulls $200K-$250K.

Conductors' interpretations aside, I'm so happy to see Bruckner 6 receive praise. I feel it usually doesn't get the respect it deserves relative to the 4-7-8-9 juggernaut.

Yeaaah... There's no way this is true and they continued watching after the first scene in the Korova Milk Bar (nude mannequins, dyed pubic hair, and all).

Karajan/BPO for me. Nobody is more thrilling in the coda of the first movement, making the last movement all the more crushing.

"As a result of the recount, Biden’s lead over Trump in Wisconsin grew by 87 votes.
Under Wisconsin law, Trump was required to foot the bill for the partial recount — meaning his campaign paid $3 million only to see Biden’s lead expand."

Libertarians complain about the "nanny state," however it's looking more and more like they really need a nanny.
