Yes - sorry, Unread does not have a share sheet extension. However I also have a free app, Feed Hawk, that lets you subscribe from the share sheet. Thank you for subscribing to Unread!

You can send selected text to the share sheet, but there is no way to put it into a template like that. I have recently been considering different ways Unread could integrate with shortcuts. I will consider this use case as part of that.

The author name should appear in the article view already. When it does not, that is typically because the feed does not include the author name. I am considering adding an option to display the author name in the article list, perhaps as a subscription level setting.

While reading a Lifehacker article, please swipe the screen to the left and select Webpage Text from the resulting menu. When prompted to apply that to all articles from that feed, select “All Articles”. That should fix this.
