Hi. What type of parking permit do you have? And what day and time are you having the most difficulty finding a space? Any feedback you can provide helps us greatly.

Anyone with a valid UH parking permit can park in any of the ungated parking lots on campus on weekends. For those who do not have a UH parking permit, visitor parking is $5 a day on the weekends.

Hi. What kind of parking permit do you currently have? If you have a garage permit and want to exchange it for one that allows you to park in surface lots, we do have some Zone F permits available.

Yes! Anyone with a valid UH permit can park in any of the ungated lots on campus Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as after 3 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Just make sure not to park in a restricted space (such as disabled, reserved, 20-minute unloading or metered).

Looking for visitor parking? Don’t forget about Garage 5, which opened last month and has had plenty of visitor spaces available every day! The visitor entrance is located along Entrance 18, close to the intersection with Elgin.

Lost permits may be replaced at the cost of $50 in our parking offices. Only one permit per academic year will be replaced at $50. Any additional replacements will be at full price.

We reached out to our contracted vendor so that they could look into getting the buses more evenly spread out. Your input was very helpful. Please feel free to pass along any other concerns regarding parking and shuttles at any time.

Thank you for your feedback. We checked into it, and it appears the buses started to bunch up yesterday afternoon, meaning they were running close behind one another, rather than being evening spread out across the route.

As long as you have a valid UH parking permit, you may park in any ungated lot on campus on the weekends. Just make sure not to park in any restricted spaces, such as disabled, reserved, metered or 20-minute loading.

Here is a map that shows the different zones on campus: Parking lot 21A (which is in Zone C) and parking lot 4A (which is in Zone D) appear to be about the same distance away from the Rec Center.

Were you denied access by an attendant after it converted to cash entry? And was this the Welcome Center Garage or the Student Welcome Center Garage?

Yes, you can use your permit with your rental vehicle. But you need to go into your parking account and add the vehicle to your permit. Then, after you no longer are using the rental car, call the parking call center at 832-842-1097 so we can remove it.

If it doesn't arrive in the mail in the next day or so, you can come to one of the parking offices on campus (in University Lofts and in the Stadium Garage next to Taco Cabana) and receive a replacement.
