I only do theory work when it comes to physics. Here’s a fantastic thread about one of the world’s greatest practitioners.

Computer scientists are reeling over an absurdly simple proof of a nearly 30-year-old conjecture about the basic building blocks of computer circuits -- my latest for

please beware, you're recommending to us Pixel owners, to get our devices fixed. Your device is top notch so I'm sure you agree that this is blatant customer disservice, and spoils my intent to upgrade in future.

you've wasted my time of 1.5 hours (driving included) after having encouraged me on the phone to come in for a same day service. This after me calling you two times to check your service time on the same day, before coming in. Not sure how more care can be taken ?

No. of boundaries > 102 overs of intense cricket in a final of a 6 week tournament = most absurd of heuristics to define a winner & a loser. This match eventually defines a tie between two teams, so why not share the world cup as well ?

I can’t get updates. Wifi doesn’t reach the garage at my condo or the garage at my office. It sucks not being able to experience one of the greatest aspects of owning a Tesla. Solution: I’d pay a monthly fee to have updates over LTE. CC

I am not sure whether this is a recent feed scroll update for your Android app but as I'm reading a tweet on the feed, sometimes, the feed auto-scrolls itself back into a previous tweet I was viewing a couple of minutes ago. Somewhat disruptive to UX, possibly a bug?

feedback abt service: calendar invite sent via email routed to wrong service center location (city Santa Clara vs Tesla service center). Arrived service center thus delayed by 10 mins; after no update waiting for 30 minutes, asked to reschedule to next week, 1.5 hrs wasted

A new thread about a series of papers in legitimate scientific journals, all from the same author. These papers have all been peer-reviewed, but no editor or peer reviewer noticed a huge problem. Warning: this might make your jaw drop.

whenever I click on help in your Android app, the app crashes. I am unable to seek help on a recent ride I hailed. Please advise.

Thanks. Given today's technologies, it is in the business' interest to seek in advance, consent from users to reschedule automated recurring actions such as payment, should such actions disrupt user experience and thus business.

Not sure how this further clarifies our discussion so help me understand. My feedback is for your rules of when paymens get processed to be sensitive to event schedules, especially live ones. Your terms of service or other parts of your portal are not transparent about the when.

I just read through the 'Subscription' section of which doesn't call out caveats or clauses related to 'timing' of payment. May be I'm missing something - can you point out the note you're implying on either this page or elsewhere for future ? Thanks.

Can confirm that the issue has been resolved at my end. Thanks. Please meet your SLA by preemptively asking user for consent to process recurring payment (scheduled by you at your end without my knowledge in the middle of a live event) such that user experience is unaffected.

suddenly demanding more payment for content that was previously available with current subscription from a loyal long time paid user, without prior notice, at the time of said content airing, is a definite way to sour your relationship with that user + their circle
