I’ve never agreed that a sitting president can’t be indicted. Given the fraught politics of impeachment, that policy all but puts every American president above the law. If Israel can indict a corrupt PM, we should be able to indict a criminal POTUS.

There comes a point that what a president is doing is so bad that they MUST be indicted. Impeachment takes forever and is uncertain.

I agree. From what I have seen on here on Twitter, there are those who think potus is above the law-Just because he is potus. Where I worked, we had”shall” and “should” conditions. “Shall” means no discussion. Potus who’s above the law w/o question is not a “Shall” condition.

I'm with you. It smacked of a party playing politics to buy time. Time to stuff the courts with as many young conservative demagogues as possible. The US is going to be damaged for two generations because of this.
