As one of the people whose business *is* in there, I hope I provide the kind of leadership we need for a better world. But that's not for me to decide.

Also, my partner (his sister) and I work with and in government, so we know how bureaucracy works. Accessing successfully is still pretty hard. For people less able to work bureaucracy than us, it must be insanely difficult.

And, while I say "complex needs", they really arent - he needs transport, a guide/companion during activities, and things to do. NDIS-registered providers apparently can't do that. And we live in Canberra. I can't imagine how hard it is for people in regions.

If he was deaf, or blind, or intellectually disabled we'd be fine. With all three, most NDIS-registered providers look blankly at us and say "we'd like to help, but we can only do X". All we want is for him to have activities that keep him busy and enjouying his life.

On top of that, we were forced to move from self-managed to managed because (as far as we can tell) we were deemed not competent to find services. We also have to use non-NDIS providers because of his complex needs.

It's worth noting in all this saving is cutting services to people with complex needs. It took us nearly a year to find services for my BIL who is deafblind and intellectually disabled. That delay reduced his funding nearly 50% because we hadn't spent.

All I can say is get a good planner. They are rare. Self-management is fine if you have time, but it's a PITA.

Wait. He said no participant in the has had their funding reduced? That is an OUTRIGHT LIE. My BIL lost nearly 50% of his funding BECAUSE IT TOOK NEARLY A YEAR TO FIND HIM SUITABLE SERVICES.

What a terrible shame was forced to choose between a stellar career in NSW government and sensible family life. Still, we get her back in Canberra, and I suspect that will be to our benefit.

This is incredibly important. That said, it's horrifying that any country needs this.

Design sprints = invented in the US. They go for a week. There your answer. Fortnights are too hard. Unless you are a 13yo boy playing Fortnite.

But you voted against it, Andrew. You and the rest of Labor can't have it both ways. You either support the and publicly *as a party* or you don't and you look like a hypocrite. You need to show that in your vote, even if you vote against party lines.
