Every Unix command eventually become an internet service. Grep--Google, rsync--Dropbox, man--stack overflow, cron--ifttt ... etc

Think about writing modern webapps as a huge collection of single purpose cli tools stitched together with pipes in the unix philosophy. Does anyone do that? Of course not!
