The Other Side” () by - Focuses on Picard’s efforts to shut down the gateways. I loved Picard’s adventures, seeing more of Captain Troi & all of the parts everyone plays in wrapping things up. This was a great end to a 7-book series that I really enjoyed! 7/7

“Death After Life” () by - Also takes place in 2376 & focuses on Calhoun & Shelby as they try to understand what they see at the other end of a gateway. This was a well-done story that had some great character development for Calhoun & Shelby! 6/7

“Horn and Ivory” () by - Focuses on what Kira finds at the other end of a gateway 30,000 years in Bajor’s past. It’s one of the very best Star Trek stories I’ve ever read - there’s so much that’s so incredibly good and further builds Kira’s character! 4/7

“Exodus” () by Diane Carey - This takes place in 2275 and focuses on Keller being on the other side of a gateway on a strange planet. I was fascinated by the culture explored in book 2 and this story expands on that in an engaging way. 3/7

“One Giant Leap” () by Susan Wright - Takes place in 2268 & focuses on Kirk & an alien trying to return through a gateway. This was a great way to further explore an unusual alien culture. I really enjoyed this and the story was a good wrap-up to this storyline. 2/7

Happy birthday to Leonard Crofoot, who played one version of Lal in 's "The Offspring" and was in TNG's "Angel One" and 's "Virtuoso." The Lal makeup was so confining that he had to wait until filming ended before he could go to the bathroom!
