The framework was so I could build it into MDS. It already had the functionality, I just factored it out to a framework. Quite proud of myself.

Variable fields for output package names when working with app/pkg inputs? app name, bundle/package id, version, auto increment leading zero integer, etc? %02d_prod_%b_%v.pkg -> 01_prod_org.bar.baz_1.12.3.pkg

Why are you creating a different package per application, that seems quite silly? The performance of the installation will improve if you create one package.

Of course. I would never, ever miss something like that! Side note: be sure to update to version 1.1 I just posted, otherwise apps will have the wrong permissions :)

I did it since Munki and MDS allow you to manage what packages get installed, and having them per-app makes that easier.
