Vitamin C is needed for epigenome maintenance and de-methylation, so you can expect a low level to have effects accross the board.

Milk is anabolic as is the perfect food for growth, that is exactly its purpose, so hard to imagine it will draw calcium from bones. Other than that, tolerance might be individual-dependent. And I dont think there is any real evidence that it is harmful in any way.

What? The food nature has perfected and fine-tuned during millions of years to serve as nutrition for growing offspring is now unhealthy?

Looks like his point is that there is one guy on a keto diet that has high blood sugar? And...? Yeah I'd like to see how it was before he switched to keto lol

Because twitter is FULL of examples of T2 diabetics that reverted their disease when switching to no carb diet. Do a one minute search.

Diabetes?! Lol, that is so ignorant dude. 100% impossible to become diabetic in a no-carb diet.

Might be range-bound for a long time, good swing candidate as cash should give a good floor.

And also, low carb. The myth that you need carbs to increase lean mass is totally false. In fact it is probably counter productive, as compared with substituting those calories with more protein. Insulin is mildly anabolic for muscle but shuts off GH production.

To gain lean mass you have to eat. And a lot (and protein), I dont argue with that. But you can still eat a lot doing IF. And what I suggest is that given a fixed amount of protein/calories ingested, you get better results eating them in a restricted time window.

Awesome paper. It provides a potential link between ketogenic diets and reduction in senescence-associated inflammation as ketogenic diets upregulate the respiratory chain-related genes which are shown here to reduce cytokines.

And btw I gained the 10 pounds of weight by eating A LOT but while (probably) losing fat. Again... GH/IF probably had something to do with it. Gaining lean mass and going over your highest ever while losing fat at the same time is not common or easy to achieve.

Which is around the highest I ever had, at 44. And been lifting since I was 20. I also started a very high protein/low carb diet at the same time, but hard to believe GH has nothing to do with it.

Look, I have been going to the gym (on and off) most of my life. I'm 44 and most recently I had a ceiling at 160 pounds. No matter how hard and often I lifted. I started IF and tried ibutamoren (GH secretagogue) and my weight has increased to 170 pounds.
