Thank goodness! With all the injuries on the football team I really couldn't take it if it started happening to basketball too.

The Terps are VERY lucky to have survived Bucknell with a win. I really like how some of the new guys provide a spark when the team goes cold. They didn't always have that last year. But what was that foul call at the end? Hope Kevin Huerter's okay.

we are trying to get more information from Park Police, but all I have now is that the man shot is still in critical condition today. Will pass along more to you including his name when I receive it.

From what they told us it looks like only about three were from Virginia.

When asked, police wouldn't say why they considered the man enough of a threat to shoot him. Also wouldn't say how many shots, although neighbors told me they heard multiple.

Myself and several other TV stations are trying to get information about what happened at the scene on Alexandria Ave. Is there anyone we can contact or who can come to us? Thanks

Museum of the Bible having an opening dinner/event tonight. Was open for some folks today, but tomorrow at 10am is the first time it opens to the general public. Spokesperson highly recommends reserving tickets online.

Traffic on 395 North into the city-both in the regular & HOV lanes-is about as bad as I've ever seen it. Which is really saying something. Disabled truck not helping, also reports there was vehicle fire near GW Pkwy exit.

FYI I didn't explain this well in the Tweet, but the Mall display was not permanent, and the Park Service lets many different groups put things up as long as they get a permit. The actual museum is in a privately owned building.
