I think I've watched "This is America" by Childish Gambino about half a dozen times. Glover's artistic genius is mesmerizing. The way he interweaves contrasting music and attitudes together is thought-provoking.

Re information foraging, I believe this is a common term (along with "information scent") that originate from HCI or other UX fields. See for example. Glad to know that you remembered the term from my talk last year.

Thanks for the note, KC. Sorry to miss the conference this year. I'm glad to see your specialization in the API side of tech writing. You're certainly at the right conference for it.

My kids won blue ribbons at the science fair for the apps they coded. One used Codesters, the other Scratch. They were fun, challenging projects. Future tech leaders? I hope so!

I've been using the Google Pixel for a while now, and without doubt it has a much better camera than the previous iPhones I had. Here's a pic my 7yr old took in a restaurant of her glass with a little umbrella. Looks almost artistic.

I've been using MightyText () for a while with my Google Pixel phone, and I love it. I can respond to texts from my computer, get images from camera shots, see when people call me, view charge status, etc. It's like my phone is inside my computer.

Whenever I start writing more, whether at work or at home, I always think, dang, I should be doing this more. This should be the bulk of my day's activities. All too often I get sidetracked into non-writing activities, but writing is my sweet spot.

The green and pink food coloring in the milk was fun for about 10 minutes on April fool's day but now, 2 days later, the joke is old and the milk is gross.
