Trying to understand the world by asking questions. Really thinks the internet was supposed to connect us & bring us together, not divide us & force us apart.

I don't speak authoritatively, I ask questions, using sources which are expert. I don't understand why this is so hard for people to understand but clearly I'm failing to explain it. This is nice calm journalism that I like.

It’s more than you may imagine but it’s certainly far fewer than I expected, so it’s been sufficiently puzzling to me that I’ve held my opinions much more gently than this platform would suggest. So I’ve merely put out data to probe further and learn not persuade

My prediction is Biden is deteriorating so fast that Trump is more likely to win than we realize. That’s my concern

If we asked someone tasked with reducing all traffic accidents to zero. And only them. We’d end up with speed limits of 40mph on motorways. That’s why the process has been so flawed.

A few people helped me. One was an epidemiologist, another a medical ethicist. We need a combo of specialists and generalists. When we set road speed limits we do so by talking to people who can makes decisions across society and with those with deep knowledge

I have no problem with their age. I love wisdom. I have problem with their physical and mental decline. Bernie is a good example of total energy

Precisely. We should accept that the politicians around the world with remarkable few exceptions , are generally the result of inept power hungry sociopaths who couldn’t get power through employment

It’s been baffling to me that since ( to me) it’s clear that the burden of this falls primarily on the vulnerable and disadvantaged, that it’s only been the telegraph and spectator and unherd that has ever promoted “the cure can’t be worse” style research and quoted experts

I’m not quite sure why people don’t get this. If a renowned medical expert says something and it’s only picked up by niche not mainstream media, it doesn’t mean the expert is wrong, just because the outlet that picked it up is biased doesn’t tarnish the source only the framing

Yes. Feel free to go back to any of my tweets and look at the source or ask for the source. I’ve had relevant medical experts ask to help me behind the scenes as they can speak. So it’s more resourced than it would seem

I think Brexit is lunacy but I love the idea of someone in the office championing it. As a Guardian reader and writer , We need more right wing people in advertising too. Maybe we need More robust Informed debate.

What you call bias is another persons belief system. By all means challenge it, ideally with data, sources etc. but don’t doubt it’s intentions. We seem to crave diversity in adland, so long as it’s not someone who actually challenges us. It’s rather pathetic

That’s why it’s something we should be discussing. I’m not sure it’s in anyone’s interest to not recognize the problem and change the process

Are we worried enough about the fact the US Presidential candidates are two rapidly deteriorating creepy very old men? Neither of them are able to walk properly, let alone lead the USA If this was a boxing match it would be stopped.

A lot of contrarianism is just people who think for themselves and somehow we’ve ended up finding that threatening. Heaven forbid someone doesn’t think the latest Nike ad is amazing or thinks Trump is an idiot but ( and this) more harmless than we feared
