Right-wing populism (US, UK, Poland, Hungary) has older supporters. Maybe they don't like liberal systems, based on free competition and rewards to the most talented, because they explain their failures to reach their dreams as a lack of talent?

Free will exists but probably not the way we believe. We're too influenced by our biases and subliminal info. Instead, believing in the existence of our free will changes our behavior, so in that regard it exists.
