Well it’s starting in my room. No ventilation, no distancing, zero students wearing masks, doors and windows mandated shut, students are not allowed to go outside for either recess, and my first student is awaiting results from a COVID test. 🤦‍♂️

I'm hearing from educators that they have been given unlabeled bottles of chemicals and no SDSs, no gloves, no instructions. Some can't be sprayed with children around. Some have to sit a while to work before being wiped dry.

Really good question. The enhanced protocols in the reopening plan were great. I knew they wouldn’t be feasible without extra funding. It’s NOT a reflection of the work ethics or willingness of the custodial staff either. THIS IS COMPLETELY ON AND HIS CAUCUS!

We still haven’t gotten our stuff to clean the tables after students finish eating. I clean them with antibacterial dish soap I brought from home. The lunchroom supervisor does it at the 2nd break. Only 1 washroom working upstairs for 4 classes. What a sh**show.

Desk tops are only cleaned *once a week* in our board (unless a student is sent home sick-then the room is evacuated, all touch point cleaned before class returns). Our caretakers are underpaid, way over worked and there aren’t even close to enough of them.

Hey , where’s the enhanced cleaning protocols. In this school, desks are ONLY cleaned at night. This class can do it themselves with this bottle of cleaner. Staff have no soap and aren’t allowed to bring some in. They can ONLY use this bottle of sanitizer.

My son’s JK/SK class has more than 25 students. At pickup today his teary teacher said “call everyone you can. Please. We can’t sustain this.” I don’t even know where to begin with how sad and scary this world is. And the impossible choices parents are facing.

I understand PH officials want to educate people like her. I, on the other hand, want her fined and/or thrown in jail. I don’t have time for this. This individual is how we’re going to end up back in Stage One, destroying businesses and our economy. Jail these assholes.
