Used as fertilizer & explosives But also ammonium nitrate is used together with nitric acid as a rocket propellant It is a better fuel than the mono-propellant Hydrazine for rockets

Hi Nabil, would an explosion of ammonium nitrate potentially be dangerous for anyone inhaling this air in Beirut? There are reports that the air smells "strange" and that this could be due to toxic chemicals.
