I see the weather gods have a sense of irony. Sunniest month on record during a country-wide . Funny guys, very funny.

Thanks, Andrew. Haven’t heard of the “half and half” ones. What are they? Any brands / shops that you could recommend?? Also, I’ll be putting in an order with 161 soon - anything that you can recommend on their list would be appreciated too! Hope you’re doing well.

Aristocracy, before embracing the elite, first meant government by the best of citizens (from the Greek ‘aristos’, ‘best’). Government by the worst people, on the other hand, is kakistocracy.

This is so unbelievably powerful. Please watch this and take a moment to feel the pain, the anguish and the fury that is being felt here. Anyone with any humanity will feel their hearts being ripped apart.

That’s what I was thinking. In normal circumstances my rides are around London and involve quite a bit of starting and stopping. It’s on the longer rides (like I did today) when you head out further afield that you feel the extra assistance would be useful...

Quick question to the cyclists of Twitter. How much difference does it make being clipped in when riding? I’ve been cycling for a couple of months quite regularly (ie during lockdown) and am wondering whether I should make the move to cleats / rat-traps. Thoughts are welcomed.

Watching (and listening) to this gives me all kinds of feelings. Memories of cricketing days over the past years, sadness I can’t watch anything now and hope that I will be able to watch it again soon.
