Does anyone know how the hover/click detection is implemented in major browsers. Is the whole DOM kept in a spatial tree that is updated along with the DOM?

*Mystery* flipbook: who authored the disputed federalist papers? Code based on lab to introducing students to text and network analysis and to amazing packages.

Using an AxiDraw. Don’t know what you mean by the last part?

Big update for rsvg (for svg rendering) now on CRAN. The underlying librsvg has been rewritten in Rust based on mozilla servo. High quality+performant rendering + css: . Pairs nicely with svglite for graphics in R.

It's interesting (but maybe not surprising), but I have a much stronger emotional attachment to the final plot with the pen plotting compared to the prints. I love the print pieces as much but the attachment is not to a single print, but to the file/code...

I have to figure out how I want to sell the pen plotting I make because there's only so much wall space in our home and I also feel deeply uncomfortable hanging my own pieces (excessively)

98% of all prospective supervillains fail early on because they can’t get font rendering right in their obligatory home grown operating system

yes, but also even though safari should be support the image-rendering value appears to have no effect

Yeah - but doesn’t work evenly across browsers (guess that some vendor prefix is needed here and there)
