Scottish Island escapes for me involve stunning scenery, people free hikes and great food. If that sounds like your idea of heaven, read on and discover the Isle of Iona. 👉🏻

Braw means good. The weather can be braw, finishing work to go on holiday is braw, wee dugs are braw. 😂

The boy’s only done one and it was on a lovely day. I enjoyed these climbs but compared to a long hike through a glen I find Munro bagging boring. Not enough stimulus for me - I need standing stones, castles and changing scenery. 😍

I wonder why JK Rowling took inspiration from Edinburgh when writing Harry Potter? Can’t see it myself! 😜 - “Wingardium leviosa” 🧙‍♂️

It’s always nice to take home a souvenir to remind you of a trip. Turnberry is stunning. You’ll just have to lookout for some local westies to pet when you’re here next. 😊

I have an ASVA pass which gets me in so didn’t notice the price. It was heaving though, so people are clearly happy to pay.

It’s amazing isn’t it. It’s brilliant to see it open and bustling with people instead of being locked up and left to rot.

I think a lot of people seem to think the same. It’s definitely worth visiting.
